The Alafair Burke Interview

Happy March! Aside from the snow, it's starting off great for me and I hope for you also. I found a few bucks in my pants pockets...AND Alafair posted our interview to YouTube. So here it is - be kind!

Well done, Jen! That looked like a lot of fun.

I completely agree about hearing the author's voice. I "heard" Alafair when reading Ellie Hatcher, more so from her FB posts and newsletters than the one or two video snippets I'd heard before. It would be fun to go back and read the Samantha Kincaid books again to see how much I would "hear" Alafair now.

So, the big question...does Duffer's cow still moo or has he chewed it to within an inch of life, yet? ;-)

Great, great interview, Jen. Both of you come off so well on video, too. Alafair and you should go on the road with this ;-). I'd certainly watch you guys. Thanks very much this.

Super job, Jen. Any day now the offer will come from BookTV!

Thanks you guys...I think you're being a little too kind.

Christine, I'm not sure if Duffer is as rough on toys as my labs are. We'll have to ask Alafair. She posted a picture of him with the cow; he seemed to like it alright.

Michael, I wish I could go on the road touting Alafair. Isn't she wonderful?

Do you think they have good hair and makeup folks at BookTV, Naomi? I really could use some help for those folks!!

Fabulous, Jen. It was like being there! Thanks so much for posting.

Duffer is still obsessed with his cow. He managed to kill the moo-sound-maker within 24 hours, then started a little hole in his back to pull all his stuffing out. I stitched up the back, though, so the cow's still in business. They're a great pair!

Great interview! As a (sort-of former) librarian I've heard lots of author presentations, and this one ranks highly. Thanks for posting it!
