Moonlighting for Murder - Monday Events
Today is the official kick-off of our Moonlighting for Murder theme week. Thanks to all the participating bloggers, we have a week full of posts dedicated to and celebrating amateur sleuths.
Here at Jen's Book Thoughts we'll be kicking off the week with a "Positions Wanted" contest that everyone can play and a wonderful guest post from author Hank Phillippi Ryan. So check back throughout the day or watch on Twitter and Facebook as I announce the posts.
Elsewhere we have equally great posts:
Over at Beth Fish Reads Carolyn Hart is the author of the week. Check out a review from her amateur sleuth series set in a bookstore.
Word Lily has the first of two reviews from Julie Kramer's investigative journalist series. Today features STALKING SUSAN.
Les at Classic Mysteries has a country house murder mystery to tell you about: ARROW POINTING NOWHERE by Elizabeth Daly.
Naomi is kicking off her "Guess Who" contest for a great bookstore giftcard at The Drowning Machine. Guess her sleuth and you could win.
And at Whimpulsive, SuziQOregon is introducing us to the China Bayles series.
I don't know about you all, but I have a lot of amateur sleuths to learn about this week. I'm looking forward to checking out all the new-to-me series I haven't tried yet.
Remember that comments you make at any of the theme week posts earn you an entry in the book prize pack contest for the week. And if you haven't done so already, be sure to get your vote in for the championship round of the World's Favorite Amateur Sleuth.

I'm looking forward to this week. I am not well versed in amateur sleuths so I'm hoping to learn something new this week.
Can't wait to find out who all these amateur sleuths are, as poorly versed as I am in this genre.
