A Special Holiday Giveaway!
Last week I posted about non-book gifts you could get for the readers on your holiday lists this year. One of those items was a concrete book end from the Blessing and Light shop on Etsy. Well, Jacinta, the proprietor who sells the cement blocks contacted me and offered me one to give away to a lucky reader! How is that for just in time for the holidays?
I love what Jacinta says about her stones:
"Every handcrafted item is created with a simple purpose, to be a blessing and bring light. The materials that I use are much like people, imperfect, sometimes rough around the edges and yet filled with messages of hope, gratitude, blessing and life."
She was kind enough to send me the one I was ogling. And doesn't it look perfect here? It takes a mighty fine book end to hold up a slew of Crais books! She's also just created one leaning the other way, so I'm thinking I'll have to get the matching pair! Not to mention I'm eying a few others as gifts, myself.

And here is the one I picked out to give away on the blog. Sorry, the lighting isn't a little better on this picture, it was right under the lamp in my office. You can see it on Jacinta's Etsy site here as well. I assure you it's wonderful and I'm going to have a hard time parting with it. By the way, I plan to include a book or two in the deal, but you can't have my signed Koryta's -- those not included!

This contest is open to U.S. residents only. Sorry folks, they're a bit on the heavy side, so shipping will already be more than normal. To enter, all you have to do is complete the form below by Saturday, December 1st. I'll draw a winner on Sunday and get this beauty in the mail for you in time for holiday gift-giving! Or you can just keep it for yourself if you so choose.
And please take a minute or two to peruse Jacinta's wonderful selection of tumbled stone pavers. There are so many fun ones to choose from. And you're not limited to using them as book ends, so you may find something for a...a....a...non-reader (*shudder*) on your list, too. I had a hard time deciding which one to offer here! Many thanks to Jacinta for her generous giveaway! Good luck!!
