For Your Viewing Pleasure

O.k., normally, I'm not a big fan of these book trailers, but I have to tell you...I like this one. Of course it's for one of my favorite books, so that may be influencing my opinion. But, I think it is because it is so well done. Take a look, tell me what you think:

And here's another one for you. This is for Chris' new middle grades book that will be out later this year, Hanging Hill. It is the sequel to his Crossroads:

I thought I posted a comment but it vanished into cyber-ether...

I'm a rarity I guess because I like book trailers. These two are both good, but I especially like the one with the skeletons. If thse were shown during kids' tv programs, maybe they'd be tempted to pick up a book occasionally.

Corey, funny you should say that. I was just reading an article yesterday about how everyone views their cable television as something they CAN'T give up. All I could think about were all the writers who said they didn't have cable growing up and instead they read...I think we all could use a little time without cable just to see how able we really are to live without it! :)

Both were well done. The skeleton one was nicely clever. The other had very good production values, especially in the choice of the song.

I had a feeling you'd like that song, Michael! :) It continues to boggle my mind how Chris finds the perfect Springstein songs for each Ceepak situation. Wow!
